Dr. Shivayogi R Kusagur is the Founder and Chairman of Kusagur Eye and Skin Hospital, Davangere( Centre for Oculoplasty and Aesthetics in Central Karnataka) . He did his long term fellowship in Orbit and Oculoplasty from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai during 2006-2008 under the mentorship of Dr. Usha Kim. Later he started an exclusive Orbit and Oculoplasty model clinic in Davangere, Karnataka in 2009. He is also associated with JJM Medical College, Davangere, Karnataka as Professor.
With 10 years of experience in the field of Orbit and Oculoplasty, Dr. Shivayogi R Kusagur is a visiting consultant to various premier eye hospitals across Karnataka. He is visiting Orbit and Oculoplasty consultant to Bangalore Nethralaya, Bangalore. His areas of interests include Ocular Oncology, Oculoplasty, Lacrimal disorders and Facial aesthetics. He also has various presentations in National and International meetings to his credit. He is a co-author for many textbooks in the field. He has received many academic awards Nationally and Internationally.
Dr Mamtha S Kusagur is a practicing Dermatologist and Cosmetologist in Kusagur Hospital since 10 years. She completed her MBBS and MD in Dermatology and Cosmetology degree from JJM Medical college, Davangere.
She's trained in dermatosurgeries from the Victoria hospital,BMCRI, Bangalore. Her special areas of interest include Acne, Pigmentation and Scar treatment.She has published her research works in National and International conferences. She also has many publications to her credit.

Kusagur eye and skin hospital started with an intension to give affordable cosmetology and oculoplasty care in and around Davangere in 2009. Since then the hospital has treated and operated thousands of patients in the field of cosmetology and oculoplasty.

In 2010 the hospital acquired the facility of customised eye prosthesis, a unique facility for the reconstruction of post enucleated socket.With this facility our hospital was the first to start such kind of treatment for the anophthalmic socket in central and north karnataka.

In April 2010 Dr Shivayogi R Kusagur, Consultant Orbit and Oculoplasty surgeon visited Tel Aviv, Isreal to present his research paper on LASER DCR in the world oculoplasty conference.

In 2010, DR MAMTHA KUSAGUR completed her training in dermatosurgery from BMCRI , Bangalore.She was exposed to procedures like Skin grafting, Hair transplantation, Cyst and mole excisions.

In 2014, the hospital was updated with Microneedling Radiofrequency (MRF) and Hydrofacial facilities for facial rejuvenation.
2017
In 2017, as the hospital was moved to an aesthetic venue, one more important LASER -Q Switched LASER for tattoo removal was introduced.
2020
In 2020, Intense Pulse Laser(IPL) was replaced by Advanced DIODE laser for unwanted hair removal.
